About the Corner Gas Souvenir Store
When the show Corner Gas began filming they would have never predicted that the gas station they built was about to be a Canadian landmark. Since the airing of the show Corner Gas became popular around the world, although many viewers probably had no idea where It was actually located. They may have even wondered is Dog River a real place?Since 2005, thousands of fans have made the trip to see the sites of the fictional Dog River located in Rouleau, Saskatchewan. It wasn't until May 1st 2012 that the Corner Gas film sets interior has been accessible to the public.
The Corner Gas film set was built in 2004 and fools many people as to wether it was an old functioning gas station. There is no gas at Corner Gas but many people try and fill up. The Ruby Cafe is also available to walk through, however there was not much filming that took place in the interior. The Cafe has been mocked up with the original booths, tables and curtains for your picture pleasure. Lacey has left the building and there is no longer a menu!
